When you count style icons like Kate Bosworth, Kirsten Dunst ,Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Sienna Miller and Jude Law as your clients, you’re definitely doing something right. So when Cher Coulter fit us into her busy schedule, we were beyond thrilled (insert in-unison pitchy shriek sounds here). We ventured to the Los Angeles home of celebrity stylist Cher Coulter, who has been one of The Coveteur’s style inspirations since… well… forever. Beyond her impeccable taste (her closet will speak for itself), it seems like everyone else has also taken notice of our favorite girl crush, especially for her way of putting together impeccable wardrobe choices one item at a time. She started at a young age: at fourteen, she began work as a dresser, helping out at fashion shows like Hermès and Alexander McQueen and eventually ended up enrolling at Central St. Martin’s to study fashion design. She graduated, set up shop as the co-founder of AKA, a line of menswear that was sold everywhere from Barney’s to Colette and worked on a number of various design projects with different musical groups, including All Saints (we had quite a few mix tapes with their hit ‘I Know Where It’s At’… just sayin’). After consulting and continuing on her path, a legendary styling career was born. She hit the road (went from London to L.A.) and began her foray into the world of celebrity dressing. While she’s tackled the girls, not everyone knows that she’s the woman in charge behind some of our favorite dudes: Eric Bana, Jude Law, and Orlando Bloom… are you drooling yet? And in an effort to expand her empire (she’s doing a killer job already), Coulter teamed up with Ms. Bosworth on a line of gems called JewelMint, exclusively designed by the duo. Some say Oprah’s the busiest girl in show business, but maybe she hasn’t met Cher Coulter yet..
